My story...

I am a lover of animals and all God's creations. I was raised as a "military brat" which allowed me the opportunity to live and travel throughout the world. I have always had a special interest in photography. However, my commitment to military duty and education left me with little time to devote. I served twenty years in the Navy Reserves and recently retired as a Chief Petty Officer, thus the anchor logo. I obtained a BA in Psychology and a MS in International Relations. Up until 2021, photography was mainly a hobby for me. But I always had a vision that I wanted it to be more. Everyday I love to learn something new about the art of photography.

As a photographer, much of my work has been focused on capturing the beauty in nature and wildlife in the coastal areas of SW Florida where I live with my wonderful husband and our fur kids, Lucy & Henry. I also have a special love for pet photography. Pets are part of the family and there has never been a time in my life when I didn't have one. Of course, our fur kids have provided me with many photo opportunities. In my free time, I absolutely love to read, travel, or just spend time with my family. I enjoy the simple things in life and that includes immersing myself in photography. Being out in nature and seeing beautiful wildlife brings me such peace and relaxation. I hope to bring that peace to others through my photography. Let me be your tour guide.
